For higher education

Built for the scale of higher education

Programs, structure, examinations and governance modelled on modern university systems — with role-based control and reporting your departments can trust.

A day on the platform

What an ordinary day looks like

  1. 09:00
    Registrar

A department requests a new section for an elective — structure change, approved and live, with subjects attached.

  2. 10:30
    Controller of examinations

Semester results compute across four departments; the analysis cockpit shows distributions before the meeting.

  3. 12:00

A governance review opens the audit trail — who published, who unlocked, who approved — and closes early.

  4. 16:00

One computation from marks entry to marksheet

Representative scenario — illustrative

An 1,800-student ICSE school runs results across three disconnected places: grading rules in one spreadsheet, subject marks in another, and the final marksheet rebuilt each term in a word processor.

Doing it by hand

Teachers hand in marks on loose sheets; a clerk re-keys them, applies grade boundaries by hand, and types each marksheet. A single copied-down total means one child’s division is wrong on a document parents keep. At result time the ranking, the tabulation register and the printed marksheet are three separate manual efforts that rarely agree.

The cheap-ERP trap

The budget ERP stored marks but couldn’t reproduce the school’s own marksheet — scholastic and non-scholastic areas, division ladders, rank rules — so the office exported and typeset the final document anyway. Grade overrides hid in spreadsheet cells, and published marks could be edited silently with no record. After two exam cycles the exam controller no longer trusted the tool’s numbers and went back to the master spreadsheet.

With ez.school

ez.school runs the whole cycle in one engine. Exams link to terms, sections map to marksheet templates, and generation computes totals, grades, ranks and results for the entire section in one run — with per-student preview before publication. The register, tabulation and analysis all read that same computation, so the number in the boardroom matches the marksheet in the parent’s hand, and unlocking a published result is a permissioned, audited act.

Grade distribution read from the same engine that printed the marksheets — the boardroom number and the parent’s copy can never disagree.

Why ez.school

Built for how you operate

Structured academics

Sessions, departments and a class/section/subject hierarchy that mirrors how you operate.

Governance & access

Built-in roles, granular permissions and audit trails for clean departmental governance.

Examination analytics

Result analysis and a multi-mode report center for registrars and faculty.

Staff & HR

Employee records, self-service and staff attendance for academic and admin teams.

Adapts to your curriculum and grading

ez.school does not assume one board or one grading model. Configure scholastic and non-scholastic schemes, grade bands, weightages and result criteria to match how you actually assess — so it fits IB, Cambridge, CBSE, ICSE, state boards and university schemes alike, in your own currency and time zone.

Evaluation questions

Asked by universities & colleges like yours

Does the structure fit semester systems and electives?

Yes. The hierarchy is department → course → semester/class → section with subjects attached per section — semester programmes, streams and electives are standard modelling, not workarounds.

Can departments manage themselves without seeing each other?

Yes. Role-based access scopes staff to their departments and duties; central offices see across. Every consequential action is audited.

How does examination governance work at scale?

Exams carry lock states through the cycle; publication and unlocking are permissioned, audited acts. Result computation is one engine — departments cannot drift apart on grading arithmetic.

Can we integrate with our existing identity system?

SSO (SAML/OAuth) is available on the Enterprise plan, alongside custom integrations and the public API.
